This masterpiece, crafted by Naughty Dog, takes players on an emotional rollercoaster through a post-apocalyptic world. The Story of the Last of Us Part 1 centers around a Violent Survivor and Smuggler Joel Miller in a post-pandemic world where zombies like fungal creatures roamed a major part of the United States who were once human beings. Joel's mission in the first part of the game was to smuggle out an immune girl by the name of Ellie Williams from the oppressive and violent military regime to a defiance faction of Fireflies to discover the cure for the disease which turned people into cannibal fungal types of monsters.
The Post-Apocalyptic Odyssey
"The Last of Us Part 1" plunges players into a world ravaged by a deadly fungal infection, where survival is paramount. The game's narrative prowess is akin to a finely woven tapestry, intricately blending elements of action, suspense, and raw human emotions. As players follow the journey of Joel and Ellie, they become engrossed in a story of resilience, sacrifice, and the unlikeliest of friendships.
Visual Splendor
One of the hallmarks of "The Last of Us Part 1" is its stunning visual design. Every scene is meticulously crafted, from the overgrown urban landscapes to the hauntingly beautiful yet dangerous environments. Naughty Dog's attention to detail is unparalleled, making players feel as though they're part of this desolate world.
Characters that Resonate
The characters within the game are more than just digital avatars; they're complex, multi-dimensional personalities that evoke empathy and connection. Joel's rugged exterior hides a tormented soul, while Ellie's innocence is juxtaposed against her fierce determination. These characters stay with players long after the game is over, a testament to the exceptional writing and voice acting.
Gameplay that Transcends
Survival at its Core
Survival instincts kick into high gear as players scavenge for resources, navigate through perilous terrain, and confront both infected and desperate humans. The gameplay mechanics are fluid and intuitive, ensuring that players are fully immersed in every heart-pounding moment.

Combat situations can often be approached with various tactics, allowing players to tailor their approach based on their play style. This layer of depth adds an extra dimension to the gameplay, making it endlessly engaging.
Puzzle Solving and Exploration
Beyond the gripping storyline and intense combat sequences, the game offers moments of respite in the form of puzzle-solving and exploration. These segments not only provide a change of pace but also contribute to the overall atmosphere of the game.
Fire Flies and Ellie:
Initially, for Joel, it was a simple task to deliver the girl to the rendezvous however as the story of the game progressed little did Joel know a strong bond between the two main characters Joel and Ellie was created, and Joel kind of the considered Ellie like his own kid. The protagonist of the game was able to reach the Fireflies at the end of the game however things went completely south when Joel discovered that the Faction had to kill Ellie to run some tests for the cure.
COMPARISON:
- All the versions of the game dating back to Ps3 consoles were tremendously great from the story plot to the character and environmental designs were breathtaking, I mean if you play the game on ps3 even in 2022 the game will not disappoint you all, and will enjoy every moment of the gameplay.
- It's a game that is way ahead of its time and surprisingly still holds up to this date. My main problem with the re-release of the game for the ps5 console is that "no one asked for it". It was a game that did fabulously great in terms of business and it was a time to let the game be put to rest if you know what I mean.
- I guess working on the continuation of the story would be a better decision than re-releasing the game over and over again whenever a new generation of consoles hits the market.
How The Remake Should Be Made:
I guess you will properly understand when we take a look at the remakes of the Resident Evil Franchise, Sure they are not letting the prequels slip out of hands as the series has a huge fan following but when we take a look at their end results of the remakes of the old games released on PS1 systems you will be not let down as the remakes are made up from the scratch from the character models to the entire environmental designs.
I am not been biased here as all of the arguments are based on actual facts which makes these games more likable as the players can experience the same story in an entirely different way.
Conclusion:
By slightly changing the Character Designs and adding some improved lighting and Particle systems, does it really become a Remake of the game? In my opinion, it's a better-remastered version of the game released on Ps4 systems.
In a realm where video games are evolving into immersive storytelling experiences, "The Last of Us Part 1" stands as a shining example of what's possible. Its masterful narrative, breathtaking visuals, and unforgettable characters combine to create an experience that resonates deeply with players. As we delve into this post-apocalyptic odyssey, we find ourselves not just playing a game, but living a gripping tale of survival, friendship, and the human spirit.
Frame Rates, Level Designs, and Graphics:
I believe the Frame Rates are much higher than the Ps4 Pro Version of the game however the the overall Graphics and Level Designs have slightly improved as compared to the previous versions released for the Ps4 Pro System
However the Release on Pc is another story as with the new Nvidia and AMD Graphics Card Powerhouse it completely looks completely new game Nevertheless, The Last Of Us Part 1 was released on the 2nd of September 2022 exclusively for Ps5 and Pc.
