With the launch of Evil West, the gaming community was quite flattered by the unique genre that took everyone by surprise with its mix mash of Futuristic Sci-Fi world and the 18th-century Wild West lurking with Supernatural Entities, Monsters, and Vampires.

The vast ambient sounds of the barren landscapes, the eerie allure of the dark entities, and the soundscapes of the environment changes from dust storms to bright sunny day adds another layer of immersion in the game.

The Emerging Monsters:

Sanguisuge monsters long hidden in the shadows have risen from the darkness becoming a first-level threat to the human race. Among them are Boo-Hag, Nagals, Leechers, and the most terrifying evil High Borns. with high intellect, rapid wound healing,  fast melee, and ambush attacks, and the capability of aerial strikes make these monsters and creatures devastating and fearsome.

The Mechanics and Weapons:

In order to counter any situation the Rentier Institute devised state to arts weapons and gadgets in order to take down any enemy, monster, or vampire in their way. One of the most commonly used weapons is the Gauntlet a true ruinous defense artillery, giving the upper hand in any brawl by tossing the enemies away like ragdolls.

The modified version of the weapon can charge up and consume electricity resulting in turning the vampires into ashes. With these Wild West-futuristic weapons and hunting tools upgradable to a more lethal tool and arsenal that could withstand and take down any monster or vampire.

Consistent updates and the release of some engaging DLC and Expansion packs promise to deliver the players of the game a wide range of weapons and gadgets, new and improved challenges with expanded narrative and the storylines of the main protagonist, Side quests with new customizable weapons features ensuring the fruitful future of the game for years to come.

Gameplay:

• The Gameplay of "Evil West" is quite straightforward and typical for modern video games. You play as one of the agents of Rentier Institute eradicating all the evils, monsters, and vampires from the American Frontiers by using special sci-fi weapons and gadgets.

•  It's a game that tried to follow the formula of the Red Dead Redemption franchise with a more modern and fantasy touch to the game but failed to indulge its players with the main story of the game.

•  The PS5 version of the game graphically looks the same as the PS4 copy of the game with a slight improvement in the FPS. The graphics of the game seemed from ps3, and xbox360 era and weren't impressive at all, some of the players may like the idea of a linear third-person shooter game with mediocre graphics however for more modern gamers it may seem off as there is not much to do besides proceeding from point A to B in a linear level as there are no side quests to explore the world.

Main Issues In My Opinion:

The main issue of the game is combat in the game with a very rudimentary execution of weapons and punches while using the gauntlet from time to time which doesn't feel very satisfying. It seems like the developer wanted to copy the idea of the God of War, Van Helsing with a futuristic sci-fi feel to the game however wasn't able to implement any idea properly.
