The Witcher 3:
In the realm of video games, some of the video games were able transcend and have a indelible, persistent, unforgettable connection with the gaming community for decades. One of those master pieces are the The Witcher Franchise, more specifically the latest installment in the series The Witcher 3 developed by CD Projekt initially released for Ps4, Xbox One and Pc.
Main Plot:
The Narrative of Witcher 3 takes right after the event of Witcher 2 where Monsters and Vampires roam and wander the earth. The Witcher Geralt of Rivia embarks on the journey to find the love of his life Yenefer of Vengerberg, however soon after his former apprentice Cirilla was discovered who was missing for years was hunting down by the Wild Witchers. The Protagonist of the game Geralt attempts to save the life of his apprentice by eliminating all the rogue wild hunters in his way.
After the death of Vesemir, Ciri becomes resentful and wanted justice for those responsible her ally's demise. In the meantime Geralt heads towards the Bald mountain to challenge Imlerith while tracks down Crown and his members. During the intense battle Ciri gets her hands on Vesemir's Wolf Medallion. Later on, Both Ciri and Geralt arrive at Novigrad to fight against the Wild Hunters.
The Epilogue of the game entirely depends on choices made by the players during each mission that specifically centers around Ciri. There are basically three main alternatives to ending of the game
- If the assassination of Radovid takes place as well as Ciri is presented before the Emperor of Emhyr Ciri unwillingly accepts the throne of Nilfgaard
- If Ciri is not presented before the Emperor of Emhyr, in that case, Geralt and Ciri both fake their deaths, and later on Ciri becomes a Monster-Hunter like Geralt while eliminating Creatures like the White Frost.
- If Ciri Dies while hunting down the White Frost, Geralt takes down the last Crone to recover Vasimir's Medallion the only relic that reminded Geralt of Ciri.
A Glimpse into the Remake
Cutting-Edge Graphics and Visual Fidelity
One of the notable enhanced feature of the game was the Graphical and Visual fidelity. The landscapes and the entire open world map has been reimagined with outstanding and astonishing detailing to the every textures. From the Ghosted Abundant Village to the bustling streets of Novigrad to the rural areas of Velen has been reconceptualized with enhanced intricate designs with meticulously attention to details thus, bringing life to the world of Witcher's and Monsters.
Expanded Narrative Horizons
The New Improvements:
- Let's talk about the latest version of the game for the new generations of consoles and Pc has to offer to the Players. Right off the bat, the Graphics of The Witcher 3 have improved significantly, if you have played the game on the previous generations of consoles and PCs, you would certainly be impressed by the new enhanced graphical improvements.
- The Textures of the Character Models, NPC, and the overall level designs certainly utilized the power of new graphical machines. Furthermore, New camera positions have been added to the game, that in my opinion was a unique feature added to the game as players can set the depth of the third-person view of the protagonist according to their gameplay or perspective they may find interesting.
- The Maps displayed on the upper right corner of the screen can be toggled on and off and can be used as a guide to quests rather than things to achieve in the game. Players can pause the screen during the cutscenes which for some reason was not possible in the previous version of the game. Moreover, if you own a copy of Witcher 3 you can play the enhanced version of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X for Free.
